I’ve started posting pics of our Chicago trip. Head over to the gallery and click on travel. I’ll continue adding more until we’re done, around the 4th.

We are in Chicago. The train here was fun. I recommend it as a mode of travel. Yesterday we went to The Field Museum. I forgot my camera. That was dumb. I will take it today and post some pics tonight. I have to go now, my day beckons.

In the lead up to WalMart-mas work is attempting to kill me, thus the light posting. I will, however, be travelling to Chicago on our nation’s state of the art rail system on Saturday… and Sunday, for a little over a weeks vacation. Pics and posts galore should follow.

She is lost without school or work, and needs your help to fill the time. Go and pick out a book for her.

The Lovely Wife is graduating and will walk the stage tonight at the Frank Erwin Center. She put a lot of time and hard, hard work into this, and I could not be more proud of her accomplishment.

There will be a small celebration at Opal’s tonight after the ceremony ends. If you can’t make it give her a call and wish her a happy adulthood!

Unless I’m terribly mistaken, I don’t think these women actually eat that much cheese.

I can’t tell you what this album is like. I’ll only sound like I’m proselytizing, and really, if I told you it was a little bit of Elliot Smith, Philip Glass and Kurt Weill all mixed up with a pinch of Sondheim and Zappa, well, now I just sound pretentious. And you still have no idea what it sounds like. So go listen to some samples on , or just jump in with both feet and buy it. If you do, and you don’t like it, I’ll buy you a beer*.

*Beer must be consumed with me in Austin, TX and you must defend your musical retardation while drinking it.

My gallery is now prettier than it was. Since it was the reason I changed hosts, and then, in the process, lost all my posts, I thought I shoud gussy it up a bit. If anything is broken, or anything could be better, let me know. Also, if you have any idea why my gallery comments aren’t working, you can tell me that too.

Yeah, that’s what this is. A fresh start. It certainly sounds better than “giving up because the transfer was too much of a pain in the ass and what that really means is that I think I forgot to back up something very important and now I’ve lost the first 11 months worth of my posts”. Ah, well… it was all crap anyway.

Ok, here’s the deal. I moved to a new webhost. I am transferring everything over, but I haven’t got the blog completely set up yet. I don’t want to post too much here, because this is just a placeholder until I get my old posts and format back. So… ugly blog, no content.

I have all of Thanksgiving week off, so if I absolutely can’t find the time to fix it all before, that’s when it will get done. Unless… you know how to fix it and will leave your contact info in comments and do it all for me? No? Oh well.
